Chris Callaghan is a singer, songwriter and entertainer, with an extensive and successful history in the Australian music scene.

He has a large catalogue of A.I. free original songs and has performed to a wide range of audiences, both nationally and internationally.

The Good Old Boys of Country Blues is the soundtrack that relives his true life story, which coincidently is very similar to the award winning movie Crazy Heart starring Jeff Bridges and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

Not since George Strait’s Pure Country DVD has there been a collection of original songs set to sweep the country music scene. Chris's latest release Honky Tonk Country Blues completes a 24 song setlist from earlier recording sessions with crowd favourites such as Whatever It Takes, Don't Be A Stranger, It Must Be Love, Tears Of A Broken Heart and Listen To The Rain. Also Let's Say A Prayer And Play Some Blues and No Turning Back are always high on the live performance request list.

The show features Callaghan's own brand of country blues which is delivered in relaxed, easy going style, establishing Chris's place in the music industry as a next level entertainer .

Latest single release:

Honky Tonk Country Blues was written recently by Chris as the title track and closing song for his new touring show Good Old Boys of Country Blues. It just happened that the music of the other artists covered in the show such as Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash to name a few ,were all considered honky tonk pioneers and were inspirational in Chris’s own brand of country blues.
