Chris’s new show 'Waylon Jennings,The Highwaymen & Me’, represents a new direction in his sound and style which has been heavily influenced by Waylon and the other legends of The Highwaymen, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson.
Callaghan’s latest release Honky Tonk Country Blues completes a 24 song setlist from earlier recording sessions with crowd favourites such as Whatever It Takes, Don't Be A Stranger, It Must Be Love, Tears Of A Broken Heart and Listen To The Rain. Also Let's Say A Prayer And Play Some Blues and No Turning Back are always high on the live performance request list.

Honky Tonk Country Blues was written recently by Chris as the title track and closing song for his new touring show Good Old Boys of Country Blues. It just happened that the music of the other artists covered in the show such as Merle Haggard, Waylon Jennings and Johnny Cash to name a few ,were all considered honky tonk pioneers and were inspirational in Chris’s own brand of country blues.
